Smart lockers allow users to safely store their luggage and personal belongings for a set period of time.
The system provides controlled access, automatic generation of a reusable QR code, and a management server for monitoring and reporting.
2. Users
Storer (Customer / End User) – The person who stores a piece of luggage or personal item in the locker.
Beneficiary (Citizen / Employee / Business Partner) – The person authorized to pick up the item from the locker.
3. Prerequisites
Smart lockers are installed in a designated space (airport, train station, shopping mall, hotel, etc.)
Users can access the lockers by scanning a unique QR code, generated for each storage session.
The management system is active, allowing usage monitoring and transaction management.
4. Main Stream
Luggage Storage
The user accesses and generates a QR code for use.
Scan the QR code at the smart locker to unlock an available compartment.
Place your luggage or personal item in the designated or chosen compartment.
Close the cabinet door, and the system associates the QR code with the respective compartment.
The management server records transaction details and storage time.
Baggage Recovery
The user reaches the locker and scans the same QR code used for storage.
The system validates the code and unlocks the associated compartment.
The user retrieves their luggage and closes the locker.
The system marks the transaction as completed and notifies the management server.
5. Alternating Flow
If the user loses the QR code ticket, they can regenerate access using the system application or by contacting technical support.
The system is flexible in setting prices for compartment rental, applying rates based on size and time interval, both upon deposit and pickup.
If the cabinet does not open, the user can request the intervention of an authorized operator.
6. API Integration
Monitoring and Reporting System – For generating reports on cabinet usage and storage duration.
Integration with Payment Systems – Optionally, the system can be integrated with Nayax POS for managing usage fees.
Through this flow, smart lockers offer an efficient, secure and convenient solution for storing luggage and personal belongings in various locations – from commercial spaces to airports and hotels.
